Here’s what you need:
- Paper rolls
- Pretty scrapbook paper
- Mod Podge
- Scissors
- Twine
Step 1: Cut your piece of paper so that it’s large enough to go around the paper roll. I don’t recommend cutting it exactly to size because I always find that there’s too much pressure to roll it perfectly and let’s face it, it doesn’t often happen that way, so I leave a little hanging over the edge.Apply a generous coat of Mod Podge to the back side of the paper and place your paper roll on top.
Step 2:Roll up your paper roll making sure it’s completely covered in paper. Seal the end closed with a little extra Mod Podge and trim away the excess paper from the edges.
Step 3:Starting with the side that has the seam from attaching the paper, fold the end of the box toward the center. The fold the opposite side so it overlaps a little. Repeat on the opposite side of the roll.
Step 4:Open up one side of the pillow box, pop in your gift, close it up and wrap some twine around your pretty package.
